Starting Year 7 is about more than finding your classroom. The move to high school brings exciting opportunities, but also new challenges. Young people are navigating new friendships, different teachers, greater independence increased academic expectations, more time online and the pressure to work out where they fit.

Across eight lessons, students develop practical skills to navigate friendships, manage change and uncertainty, understand their emotions, and make positive choices around technology, online behaviour, and AI. They also build confidence in recognising when they or others need support and knowing where to seek help.
